Privacy policy
Purposes
Handipum uses data for Telegram login, profiles and filters, mutual connections and chats, moderation, abuse prevention and support. Minimal Telegram identifiers, selected language and session data are processed to show language and consent options before activation. Dating functions require a separate confirmation.
Data stored
We store the data listed in the consent, profile versions, privacy settings, consent history, messages, case materials and security logs. Birth date verifies the 18+ requirement and calculates the age shown on profiles. We do not request your Telegram password, payment details or address book. Photos are not used for automated identity recognition.
Visibility
Public cards show a pseudonym, age, gender, city, goals, interests and answers; photos are blurred. Name, contact and original photos require separate mutual permissions. An authorised administrator reviews profiles and photos and handles reports with related evidence. Data is stored on our server; chats are not end-to-end encrypted.
Telegram and providers
Telegram provides login, the bot interface and notifications. Administrators may review materials in a private Telegram chat; service copies are scheduled for automatic deletion after 24 hours, with possible delays if Telegram is unavailable. Server infrastructure is also used. Providers may process data outside Armenia; the provider and country list will be clarified. Consent alone does not replace compliance with cross-border transfer requirements.
Optional astrology
When enabled, AstroVisor receives calculation inputs: birth date, time, place coordinates and timezone. Names, Telegram IDs, photos and conversations are not sent for these calculations. Unknown birth time uses 12:00 and is marked approximate. You can disable or delete the astro profile in settings.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained while needed for these purposes. A deletion request hides the account and revokes access; a background job then removes the profile, media, astro data and sent message bodies. Case evidence and necessary security records follow separate retention periods. Backups expire on their retention cycle; a deletion ledger prevents deleted accounts from being restored. Copies previously saved by another participant cannot be remotely erased.
Your controls
You can edit your profile, change visibility and disable astrology. Privacy settings offer a data export and account deletion. Support accepts requests for processing information, correction, blocking, deletion and consent withdrawal. Support and data controls remain accessible without renewed consent.
Explore first, connect when ready
After short registration, an 18+ age check and explicit consent, you can browse published profiles. Basic information entered in the form is not sent to the server before confirmation. While browsing, your unfinished profile is hidden from search and you cannot send interest or start conversations. To connect, complete your profile, add real photos of yourself and pass moderation. Browsing remains available during review.
Only real photos of yourself
Upload only real photographs depicting you. Photos of other people, images taken from the internet, impersonation and generated faces are prohibited. Violations may lead to profile rejection or account suspension without prior warning or a request for further explanations. The reason is shown in the app; contact support if you believe there is an error. Moderators review photos. Other members see blurred images; originals are revealed only by a separate mutual agreement in a chat.
